The Kutubpur school is managed by the West Bengal Council of women. This is their long term goal:

A child, when given proper education grows up to be a person who can bear various responsibilities. We have engaged ourselves in building up the future of those poor and destitute children of the Kutubpur village who had not seen the light of hope in the past. The children hail from tribal families, farmers and labourers. In Kutubpur school, we not only educate them but also provide school uniforms, books , midday meals a medical check up etc... Now the children are actively and seriously taking interest in coming to school and parents are becoming conscious to make their children literate. This has been itself a milestone for us and today the students are doing well in academics. We have also introduced co-curricular activities like singing, dancing, art ,crafts etc.
