THE SCHOOL

The official name of the school is Olokirisiai Primary School. The  Lorien Project started as a desire to regenerate a plot of land to eventually turn it into a forest. While working on Lorien, we were contacted by the local community asking for our help with their school and better access to water. We funded a the building of a water holding tank. We are also currently helping the school by providing food for the students and staff.

The school will need help with the following:

• ​Sanitary pads for the girls

• Upgrading of school buildings: toilet block, teacher housing, staff room

• Fencing the property - in order to start a tree nursery and a vegetable garden
